WNMU’s Student Occupational Therapy Association to hold Raffle

Silver City, NM; Deming, NM- The Student Occupational Therapy Association, housed under the WNMU Occupational Therapy Program, will be holding a raffle to kick off the start of Fall Semester. Several local business from the Deming and Silver City areas are participating in the raffle and all proceeds will go toward the WNMU Occupational Therapy Program to assist with Field Work expenses.

Items raffled off will include a homemade metal welcome sign, a homemade metal cross, three free individual haircuts at Deming’s Los Barberos Barber Shop, a 16 x 18 cross from Heart’s Desire in Deming, a backpack filled with school supplies, a $20 gift card for Fryhouse in Silver City, NM, a gift basket filled with Avon products valued at $200, a $25 gift certificate for Si Senor Restaurant in Deming, NM, a gift basket from Zir Yab’s Body Brew in Silver City, NM, and finally, merchandise from Western New Mexico University. Tickets are priced at $2 for one ticket and $5 for three tickets. Participants do not need to be present to win.

The raffle will be held on August 14, coinciding with the first day of Fall Semester. It will be live on the WNMU Sota Club Class of 2018 Facebook page.
