Be Part of 2015’s Annual Academic/Research Symposium

Silver City, NM- Western New Mexico is holding the 10th Annual Academic Student Research Symposium and Career Fair where students, staff and the public can enjoy student-generated research projects, creative works, public service projects, technological, industrial and applied technological projects, scholarship of teaching and learning exhibits, innovative ideas, and other exhibits.

Dr. William Norris, one of the professors who helped initiate the symposium stated, “We decided the we needed a forum for our students here at Western to present their projects they’ve been doing for their classes, we get projects from almost all the departments here on Campus. We’re really excited to see the participation and enthusiasm that we’ve continued to receive.”

Research and academic proposals are currently being accepted for this year’s Research/Acedemic Symposium. Projects can be given orally or in display format. To submit your proposal, please visit: http://voyager.wnmu.edu/mtsforms/view.php?id=16306

Submission deadline is April 22. Symposium will take place May 6.
