Delta Mu Delta Holds Fundraiser for Breast Cancer Awareness

Silver City, NM- Delta Mu Delta is giving students, faculty, staff and members of the community the chance to pick which prominent lady of Western New Mexico University will have to dye their hair pink. It’s all part of a fundraiser that the business honor’s society is holding on behalf of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The club will be placing a number of donation jars around campus at the front desk of each department’s office.

When students, staff, faculty and community members put money into the collection jars, they can fill out a form to select which lady will have their hair dyed. Each lady will have a still to be determined quota for donations. At the end of the fundraiser, if that particular lady’s quota for donations is met, their hair will be dyed pink on October 28th. The last day for donations is on Wednesday, October 26th.
