Student Activities Sponsor WNMU Duck Hunt

Silver City, NM- Rubber Ducks have taken over the campus! These tiny, yellow bath accessories have been placed in hiding spots all over the school as part of the WNMU Duck Hunt. Should a student find a duck, they are to bring it to the Life Lounge on the first floor of the Student Memorial Center to win a prize. For example, students can win free candy, tumbler cups, or other small treats. Although the hunt for these toys will be ending soon, there are still plenty that have not been found.

The Student Activities Coordinator/ Hall Director, Katherine M. Warren, is the sponsor of this event. “This is a fun event to get students out of their rooms and to be active around campus,” Warren said.

Warren urges students to hurry and claim their prizes before October 21st, meaning today is the deadline. Warren strives to make WNMU student life both fun and energetic. Next week she will be hosting a flag football game that anyone is welcome to participate in.

For more details, students can contact Katherine Warren at the Student Life Lounge across the hall from the WNMU Bookstore, or by email at Katherine.Warren@wnmu.edu
