Students share love every day of the year here at WNMU

With February arriving 2020, everyone is getting ready for Valentine’s Day! Valentine’s Day is an annual celebration to recognize love, friendship, and appreciation toward loved ones. It is celebrated every 14th of February; however, we can share the love all year long.

The Mustang Newspaper Staff asked students and staff one question, “How could we celebrate love every day of the year?

Aja Sanchez, ASWNMU Senator of District 8, shared, “We could share love every day of the year by reminding those who support us, that they are appreciated. This includes friends, family, co-workers, etc.”

“We could show love by showing the students the passion of Christ!! #TrueLove,” said Dorian Carrasco, member of the St. Francis Newman club.

Sebastian Mendoza, WNMU Cross Country team member, believes, “Every day we learn how to appreciate everyone in our life.”

Gabriel Lazzell, WNMU Psychology major, states, “I believe that we are in an era of people who forget to find love within themselves, wake up with gratitude, and celebrate the breath. In this way, we can find love every day of the year.”

WNMU Track and Field team member, Erick Arambula, expressed, “ we could celebrate by being kind to one another.”

“I celebrate love every day of the year by being friendly to others and giving back to the community,” said Elizabeth Guevara, WNMU Early Childhood major.

Fellow Mustang writer, Luis Chavez, stated, “We celebrate by respecting everyone’s beliefs and not trying to put others down by trying to show you are better than them. #LiveandLetLive”

“You need to be there for those you care for,” said Sinjin- Tomas Girdillo, WNMU tutoring Program Coordinator.

Michael García, M.E.Ch.A  President, said: “We celebrate love every day by giving back to the community!”

Resident Assistant, Raelynn Aimee, said, “We could celebrate love every day of the year by telling people how much they mean to you.”

“We could celebrate love every day of the year by spending one to two minutes of every day to compliment someone you care about,” stated Tayler Davis, WNMU Rehabilitation Services and Psychology major.

Kim Austin, Psychology major, said, “The best way to celebrate love every Day is by always having a smile on display! (: “

Jesus Tadeo Araiza, an International student, majoring in business Management, said, “We could celebrate love every day by being respectful with other people. We must start to understand that we are all different. Let’s embrace these differences! (: “
