Students are invited to come by the WNMU Bookstore on Tuesday, March 27 for a Grad Fair from 10am to 3pm. Graduating seniors will be able to pick up their long-awaited caps and gowns, as well as look at a few other items to celebrate the occasion. For students that can’t make it on Tuesday due to other obligations, caps, gowns and tassels will be available right up until the day of graduation. All of these items have been bought and paid for through student tuition.
There will be a small shipping fee for out of state and off-campus students that would like their caps and gowns sent to their homes. For ground shipping, the coast is $7.50, two-day shipping is $13.50, and overnight shipping is $18. If they haven’t already, off-campus and out of state students will need to provide their height and weight in order to get the correct size.
On Tuesday, Sharon Robinson from Jostens, the company providing caps and gowns, will be at the book store to help students who may want to purchase invitations, class rings and other accessories to celebrate the culmination of their hard work.
Spring Commencement will be on Friday, May 11 at 2pm at the Old James Stadium. Seniors will meet for line-up at 1:15pm and graduation rehearsal will be at 11:00am.
